High Mileage Oil

Carries seal conditioners that swell aged gaskets and seals back toward their original fit, which slows the minor seepage an engine develops over time. It also runs extra detergent to keep sludge and deposits under control.

Part synthetic base stock, part conventional. It flows better than conventional on a cold Brampton morning and holds its viscosity better once the engine is hot, without the full synthetic price.

This is a blend, not a full synthetic, and we label it that way deliberately. If your manufacturer specifies a full synthetic, this tier will not satisfy that requirement and we will move you up.

Full Synthetic

Synthetic base stocks are built to a far more uniform molecular size than conventional oil. That uniformity is why they behave predictably at minus twenty-five and at full operating temperature, and it is why the drain interval stretches to 10,000 km.

Turbocharged and direct-injection truck engines in particular need an oil tested against low-speed pre-ignition, which is what this delivers. Any engine can run a full synthetic in the viscosity it specifies.

How our truck pricing works. Prices are set by engine size, six cylinder or eight, and are plus HST. They cover gas pickups and gas Sprinter vans alike. We do diesel too, but a diesel takes a different oil and a much larger fill, so it is quoted on the phone rather than off this list. If your vehicle takes more oil than the standard fill you will hear the exact number before we start. Intervals shown are our recommendation for Brampton stop-and-go driving; your owner manual overrides us and we will follow it.

How much is a pickup truck oil change in Brampton?

At Lube It a pickup oil change runs from $89.99 to $129.99 plus HST. High Mileage is $89.99 for a six cylinder and $99.99 for an eight, Synthetic Blend is $109.99 and $119.99, and Full Synthetic is $119.99 and $129.99. Every price includes the oil, a new filter and the 15-point check.

Why does a pickup cost more than a car?

A truck engine holds more oil and many take a larger filter, so the same service uses more product. That is the whole difference. The labour and the 15-point check are identical.

Do you do diesel pickups?

Yes, we do. A diesel takes a different oil and a much larger fill, so it does not follow the prices on this page. Call us with the truck and we will give you the number before you drive over.

Do these prices cover Sprinter vans?

Yes. A gas Sprinter or a similar large van is priced exactly as a pickup is, off the same list. A diesel Sprinter takes a different oil and a larger fill, so call us for that one.

Do I need an appointment?

No. Drive in during opening hours and join the queue, the same as any other vehicle.

Which oil does my truck take?

Just tell us the year, make and model. That is all we need to look up the exact viscosity and standard your engine takes.

What if my truck takes more oil than the listed fill?

We tell you before we start. Nothing is added to your bill without you agreeing to it first.
